About Us

We’re eco-friendly soap and shampoo makers and we proudly call Melbourne, Victoria (Boonwurrung land) our home. All our products – soap bars, solid shampoos, and liquid hand soaps – are made right here in our local production facility with ethical and safe ingredients.

We’ve always been a bit hippie

Our products first appeared in artisan markets in the 1980s, when ‘Annie the Hippie’ was known for her soap recipes that were as gentle on the skin as they were on the earth. These days you won’t find us sporting daisy chains, but we still love flower power – blending natural botanicals into our recipes, some still the same as Annie’s originals.

What we're made of

Our small batch hair and body products feel so good because they actually are. We source sustainable ingredients like eucalyptus, lavender, and local Victorian olive oil – scrutinising everything that goes in and using traditional soap recipes with cold processing to lock the goodness in.

The low-tox lowdown

To avoid synthetic toxins found in some other brands, our cold process soap recipes use vegan butters and local Victorian olive oil and coconut oil, plus 100% essential oils and natural colourings and clays, so they’re gentler on your skin and leave it feeling hydrated.

Our carefully crafted shampoo and conditioner bars are made with naturally sourced, pH balancing ingredients such as coconut, jojoba, and sweet almond oils plus wheat and rice proteins and vitamin E to leave your hair clean, nourished, and protected.
